Photo of the cranes at the shipyard on the clyde and i messed about with the colour in Photoshop. Canny beat Photoshop.................makes even your shit photos look half decent!

New Painting

Recently finished this painting (untitled as usual!).....................My aim was to try and paint like a child using simple shapes and colours. It was done pretty quickly probably finished in an hour or 2 over 2 days. I left it lying for ages as i wasn't happy with it but the longer i left it the more it started to grow on me.

I have been working on a series of naked lady paintings recently. I have been creating these paintings from sketches done at the Flying Duck life drawing sessions (Recommended). I have also been using oil paints which i haven't used in a couple of years and have been enjoying experimenting with different techniques and brush stokes.

ART FUSION - GIBSON STREET GALA 2011

A few pictures of yesterday at the gibson street gala.....was a great day - sold quite a few paintings and the rain managed to stay off until 5.30pm!

Wee layla even came along to help out on the stall.
