The Titan Crane is the only remaining part of the old John Browns Shipyard in Clydebank and this print is part of a series of limited edition linocut prints I am working on based on iconic Scottish landmarks.

All prints are numbered / titled / signed (limited edition of 100)
Hand pulled print in blue ink. Actual print 6" x 8" printed onto 100% rag, acid free paper.

Linocut Prints

As mentioned in a previous post I have started linocut printing. The red "dancing girl" was my first attempt based on one of my paintings of the same name. The"Armadillo" was next and is the first of a serious of lino prints based on iconic Scottish places. These 2 are limited editions of 100 all signed, numbered and titled. I took them to the gibson street gala and sold quite a few of each and have also sold more since so seem to be  quite popular. BRAW - Artfusion Exhibition

Good opening night was had at the Artfusion exhibition in Offshore Cafe on Friday. 2 of my paintings are on display....Naked Lady No.13 & African Mask. The Gibson Street Gala is this Sunday 12pm -6pm.

African Mask (work in progress)

Not posted anything in a while so thought I would give a wee update. Working on a few things at the moment...this is a painting I am doing inspired by an African mask I have....not finished just working away at it as well as several other paintings I am currently working on (which I will post shortly). Also attempting some lino prints! so will see how they turn out.

CLYDESIDE OPEN ART SHOW 2012

My Painting "Rat Race" has been selected to appear in this years Clydeside Open Art Show. The Show will open to the public on Sat 2nd Nov across 3 venues and run until Sat 8th Dec. The Show looks set to bring some of the best contemporary art from around the UK to the heart of West Dunbartonshire with a diverse range of work including drawings, prints, ceramics, photography, painting and textiles. Artists from across the UK were selected from over 300 entries this year and will be exhibiting together for the very first time. Admission to the shows is free and all works are for sale.

Naked Lady Abstract

 New painting just finished.......i think! Laura's been getting on at me to do a new one for the living room wall as I sold our last one at Artfusion. So its up for the moment but might add a few wee bits to it and varnish it. Would like to get it framed (would love to get all my paintings framed if I could afford it!).

Not the best photos as there is a metalic gold paint used which doesn't show up well in the photos.
