It was the opening last night of the Identity exhibition in Broadcast in Glasgow. I have 4 artworks in this alongside some very talented and cool artists.

The artwork will be on show for another 2 months so plenty of time to pop in for a look and a beer if you are in Glasgow.

Pencil Drawings from School

Also found these while clearing out last week....some pencil drawings from my Standard Grade Art (age 14-15). Don't think I would have the patience to sit down and draw so much detail these days....although I think I might challenge myself one day.

The drawings are not in the best condition....lots of smudges and paper a bit warped.

Stumbled across an old portfolio case tonight while clearing out and found a load of old artwork from School and College....Never realise I had done so many self portraits! Lots of interesting styles and techniques as well as different materials and quite funny to look at these after such a long time.(Not the best photos...just quickly taken on my phone while I was looking through them).

Clydebank Blitz - Acrylic on Canvas

New painting just finished "Clydebank Blitz". Acrylic on canvas 80cm x 30cm.

After 2 nights of bombing during WW2  only 7 houses remained undamaged from 12,000 in Clydebank and 48,000 people were made homeless. Official figures were 528 people dead 617 seriously injured. Newspaper reports about Clydebank were censored by the British government during the war.
